The use of “nobody” without any extension or restriction is excessive. Maybe “nobody so far” or “nobody as far as I know” or other phrases that would sound a lot more humble. A scientist cannot and must not consider what he knows as the total truth on any subject and in any declaration. This is true of anyone and it is one thousand truer for a scientist.
