The first amendment is not at stake here. It is plain freedom and politically it is absurd and Simon and Schuster know about it. The ideology, the ideas that are rejected in a way or another so publicly are given so much attractive appeal that they become dominant in no time. Hostility creates empathy for the rejected.
You should maybe reflect on how Trump was elected because Clinton and many other movements around her, including the Democratic Party repeated day after day: “stop trump!” more than a hundred times a day. He became a working class hero since he was the rejected mongrel that dared bite back.
And his biting back was the best bait for the Democrats to go on telling everyone that mongrel had some highly contagious disease and they made him contagious. We know the result.
As for Simon and Schuster not making money, well they already lost a quarter of a million, and Milo will find another publisher or as I suggested self-publisher and the book should sell like hotcakes, especially after his press conference about it. They might even make a film about it.
But this being said, I guess you were not a molested child, you did not know what it is and what it was to be molested as soon as a very early age. But I won’t tell you more. You can always check:

Have a good day and remember sending Hitler to prison made him what he became. How many leaders of the Bolshevik revolution had been sent to Siberia or in exile? Not to speak of Mao.
