Of course you can’t. I have taken so many people around in Paris to the main attractions and I was always amazed by the effect the Eiffel Tower or the Comédie Française had on young people who were there for the first time. The first time I went up to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower was in 1964 for the 60th anniversary of Jean Jaurès’s Humanité. I was invited and I was 19. Yes it was something, butI just wonder if the various great names of show bizz around there were not more impressive than the tower itself. I am sure you will be able to find the greatness of little things in Paris one day. I find a tram trip all around Paris (not quite yet) more fascinating by the places you cross, the varied architectrure all along the way, the people around you and the multiple languages you can hear. That is Paris. Try one day get lost Porte de al Chapelle or Boulevard Barbès Rochechouard. I deeply dislike the Forum des Halles.
