Maybe but that is not very kind with his audience and Obama’s case showed that a popular audience could listen to sentence twice as long. What’s more we should differentiate the speeches according to the audience addressed in each one: popular audience, working class audience, conference audience, or whatever. One does not speak the same way to working class blue collar people and to university audience (professors or/and students).
