The last season of Dexter’s series has just come out in his own mental genre. It is a big commercial operation. The original series was a success. The blood-shedding serial killer disguised as a cop and a Robin Hood catching up on various criminals, who on his own decision, executes them in cold blood, though the shedding of the blood is dealing with a very hot body fluid.

This justice-maker is fascinating for the audience that finds some relief in this orgy. Their death instinct, Thanatos if you prefer, is satisfied like the gods of the Mayas or the Aztecs when they received such human and bloody sacrifices. In a way, Pontius Pilate must have felt some pleasure and satisfaction in the blood of Jesus, though they did not shed his blood. Blood was not the stake. Suffering and dying very slowly in the burning sun on a cross were the entertaining spectacle.

This final season is the building of the serial-killing justice-maker the series needs and Dexter himself has become repetitive. But what about his son? That’s better. But how can Dexter be sure his son will be a serial killer? Only one way to know…
