MAY 1968 and Roland Barthes’s mistake: If « LANGUAGE IS FASCIST » just learn how to dominate it and make it your slave!

Language enabled the human genus and in the heart of it Homo Sapiens to conquer the world, to invent science, religion, philosophy, and above all communication without which there would be no human species, no humanity, no humanism or simply no human civilization(s).
Let’s give back to language its honor and its force, and first of all let’s not forget that the power of language is in the thought that inhabits it and uses it to invent the future.

LA GRAMMAIRE DYNAMIQUE DE L’ANGLAIS

Dr Jacques COULARDEAU
Pour étudiants ou enseignants d’anglais francophones
INTRODUCTION

Abstract
In our days of Artificial Intelligence, smartphones and all Internet of Things that provide us with myriads of connected objects at a very early age, education has to be transformed to integrate the searching power these means of communications, in fact first of all means of exploration-incorporation, provide every single individual in our society. They have become the main means of development for mass-education in a knowledge society. I will at first start from the mental architecture of a learner and move to the fundamental transference phenomena that command the motivation of a learner and a self-learner has to live on his own motivation.
Then I will move to the role and responsibility of the Conceptor-Designer of a batch of self-learning work based on the choice expressed by the Self-Learner, from the resources provided or suggested by the batch to the tasks to be fulfilled. Everything is hegemonies by the type of needs and activities the learner will have to face and assume in his future professional field. The Self-Learner will have to target what is in his “zone of proximal development” to be most effective.
That will lead us to the triadic guided self-learning situation centered on the Self-Learner but with the guidance from the Conceptor-Designer on one side and the real professional world represented by the Coach-Counterpart-Partner-Doppelganger that accompanies the Self-learner in his voyage on the other side. The Internet, in its present development, is the real toolbox the Self-Learner has at the tip of his fingers constantly.
That will lead us to the Boolean logic of the Internet that has to be understood and dominated by the Self-Learner, at times against the interests of the search-engine the Self-Learner uses. I will end with one particular batch — called a triad — of self-learning work proposed in Fall 2018 to the CEO of a medical startup, which will bring the type of contract that can be signed by the company and the Conceptor-Designer who only sells Intellectual Property to the company.

DRAFT PAPER AND APPENDIXES

Bucharest, Romania, is a city that is emerging as a 21st-century Capital City in Europe. It has tremendous potential but still a lot to do both in the old historical town and in the more modern avenues, but a lot is being done particularly in upgrading the city and the country to modern communication and connected life.
The 5th Plurilingualism European Conference on “Plurilingualism in Sustainable Development” was held there on May 23–24, 2019. You can go around in Bucharest with English if you do not know Romanian. It is open to other languages than their own national language. It is also an important historical center in Europe with a great culture in several fields, like orthodox church art with a lot of icons in many churches, including of course the architecture of these old churches. At the same time, it has a great musical tradition with George Enescu (1881–1955) and quite a few more musicians living and composing today abundantly though they are not known very much outside the country.

The didactic balance sheet of 13 years of guided self-learning I animated for payroll technicians in Paris. This approach enables most to improve on their own sustainable energy, particularly those who find it most difficult to learn a foreign language and it prepares them to the multilingual situation they will encounter in their companies and in their lives.
In this hefty file, I present the full draft version of the presentation I did in this conference (PAYROLL TECHNICIAN IN FRANCE AND MULTILINGUALISM), plus the PowerPoint presentation and all the appendixes necessary. Appendix One — Initial Level Test, With Correction; Appendix Two — Bill Gates Worksheet, With Correction; Appendix Three — Final Test, With Correction; Appendix Four — Final File For End-Of-Year Essay; Appendix Five — Lexicon — Today Is Payday; Appendix Six — Introductory Presentation Of Tasks — Year 2015–2016.
The presentation itself will be published in a shortened version later on by the European Observatory for Plurilingualism later on but the various documents presented here will be useful to expand the presentation with real didactic tools used in this particular experience/experiment.
