Creative writing is not writing at all for a long time.

It is creative smelling, seeing, experiencing, feeling, sensing, emotionizing, loving, hating.

The music exists first and the words may come or not, music might come, or pictures and painting, or action and violence, or so many other acts motivated by that inner music you feel, hear, sense, see or whatever according to the senses you are using, the part of your body you are putting to work to assume, collect and store that music that may one day get to words, if words are your mode of expression.
