It is a series like so many series for, let’s say, old teens but not yet twinks, or just beyond the 18-year-old line. After all, we are in an S-special high school.

Bring together vampires, witches, and werewolves to learn how to live together as what they are without preying upon the others. Assume your natural essence, even if it is difficult in the outside society, but never impose it in any way on the other affiliations. There are even a few non-surreal characters or students in the school, and that is difficult for them, but they play the game, because after all, it is a game.

The series is moderately entertaining for adults, except adults who are attracted by these in-between teens, after puberty hence 14, and before twink age, therefore 18. The series is rated over 16 on my box, and it is done for teenagers. The themes, the limits, the rules, and the various transgressions of normal socially determined limits are for such a young audience, and since it is a TV series the age limit of over 16 is plain inexistant, or at least useless and ineffective. Parents never give a damn as long as they are not rowdy, their teenagers.

After a while, if you are not within this age range and interested in looking under the skirts of girls, and in the boys’ showers, where all boys take their showers wrapped in a towel up to the neck, maybe only under the nipples, then you will find it funny to look at their creativity like sitting at the bottom of stairs and watching girls going up, or inventing emergency reasons to run into the boys’ showers. Or simply running into the private room of a boy or a girl just to see what’s happening, especially when one of the older boys is in an older girl’s room. And of course, the director will provide…
