Can a teacher leave his or her class to go to the toilet? Of course not. He or she has to be substituted by someone qualified to take over his or her responsibility. Can a nurse in the middle of a complex operation like sewing up a large wound stop her or his work to go to the toilet? Of course not. She or he has to ask another nurse to substitute her or him if necessary. This is not typical of Amazon workers. Even at university level, a professor cannot leave his class unattended for no reason whatsoever. Can a train engineer or conductor ask the train to stop for any personal reason, or the engineer who has no toilet at hand in his driving cabin, can he let the train conduct itself while he is going to the toilet, if he can pass from his engine to the carriages behind where there are toilets? such tight working conditions are NOT, NOT AT ALL typical of Amazon warehouse workers. AND THERE IS NO EASY ANSWER.
