And that's a point you did not study. the proportion of slaves in Greek society, and later in Roman society. And the sexual use of slaves in Greek society and later in Roman society: no matter what sex, no matter what age, just slave = slave. Fullstop. And then you have a double society and double ethics. Ethics for the society of "free" people, and ethics for the relationships between "free" and "enslaved" people. There, dominance is the only rule. I am always amazed when academic studies of ancient Greece or ancient Rome are just overlooking the existance of the enormous class of slaves. Slavery was a generalized fact and practice all around the Mediterranean Sea and in the Middle East with extensions, of course, to the Indian subcontinent and the whole of Asia. One point is essential and it is valid for ALL historical studies. The values of today are supposed not to be transferred to ancient societies. That's pure anachronism.
