An evening from nowhere

Autumn has not come yet

Cold is nothing but cool in the evening

Drunk is out of the question

So many beautiful things to do

In the falling night of the fall

From the snake to the tree

From the fig to the apple

From desire to relish

From greed to lechery

Just maybe a climax

Slightly peppered and seasoned

In this fake autumn it is good

But keep your eyes sharp

Keep your ears clean and open

Keep your senses alert and alive

This in-between season that is

Neither autumn nor summer

Builds in you energy and fire

An extreme taste of Venom

An extreme trip to the High Castle

An extreme onanistic descent

Into extreme lustful flesh

Just for the last minute ecstasy

Of a relief for the night to come

To engulf your senses and your mind

In some soulless pleasure

No not really cold

Not really drunk

Not reeling really but

Sinking and drowning

In a flood of burning fluids

Directly from your hormonal brain

Somewhere between your heels

and your skull.

Fare thee well

With Solomon if you like him

Or with David both a brotherly lover

And a harp player of skill

Handel’s David in love with Jonathan

With the power of devotion

After a sharp battle.
